I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's beautiful decoration, especially in the common areas. The elegant furnishings and tasteful decor gave the hotel a classy and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The hallways were wide and well-lit, making it easy for me to navigate with my walking cane.
I would ask for more assistance from the staff during my vacation. While the children working there were friendly, it would have been helpful to have someone available to assist seniors with their luggage or provide extra support when needed.

Well located for Riocentro exhibition halls, not so well located for tourist stuff.
No bar to speak of so no social atmosphere in the evenings. More of a business hotel than anything else but it's a taxi ride to everywhere.

The rooms at Plaza Barra First are top-notch! They are super cozy and comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. As a karaoke and casino enthusiast, I loved the 24-hour room service and free WiFi - perfect for late-night jam sessions and online gambling!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the shower in the bathroom. It just didn't suit my preferences.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a super comfy double bed. The hotel staff were incredibly responsive and speedy, attending to all our requests, from extra toiletries to arranging taxis and allowing us to change our check-out time. The pool area was a nice spot to relax, and there was easy parking available. Breakfast was delicious and the location was excellent.

I keep coming back to this hotel because it has everything I need, like Wi-Fi, free parking, and a 24-hour reception. The staff is amazing too - they helped me with a late check-out once, and I always remember that. It's the perfect place for my trip.

Alles was perfect.

The hotel had a nice pool and gym facilities that I appreciated. I also enjoyed being close to the beach and amenities. The breakfast was tasty and filling with a variety of food.
My Christmas stay was a bit disappointing as the room was not as clean as I expected. The bed sheets were scratchy and the pillows were too hard for my liking.

The hotel is in a modern area near a few other beaches that are less crowded than the tourist areas in Rio. A ferry nearby takes you to the beach as well. the breakfast is simple, but there is a good choice of items. the room is comfortable and spacious, with a large bathroom. the WIFI is free, and there is a dock with a speaker for an iPod iTouch/iPod Nano.
The staff at reception lacks warmth and friendliness and the fact that not all of them speak English might be a problem.

Spacious and well-decorated rooms with a nice view. Excellent fitness center and a good breakfast. the location is great if you want a peaceful environment to stay.
Limited number of channels on TV and poor Wi-Fi connectivity. Beds were uncomfortable because of two single mattresses being combined into one double bed.

The location was perfect for us, as it was close to the beach and most tourist areas in this city. Additionally, we appreciated the fact that there was transportation available nearby, including a ferry that takes you to the beach. The staff was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in a residential area of high-class neighborhood. The location is perfect, situated in a modern and nice area at the end of Barra da Tijuca. The staff here are very responsive and always ready to assist with our requests, whether it was for extra toiletries or arranging taxis. The room itself was spacious and clean, with all the necessary amenities provided such as air conditioning, mini-bar, and in-room safe. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and had a good variety of options. The pool area was also a great place to relax and unwind.
